Alcides Silva (Big Al) immigrated to the United States from Cape Verde nearly twenty-five years ago. He got married, built a family, and worked hard with his wife to support that family. Big Al has been one of many to truly lived The American Dream.
Holding a variety of jobs, he struggled to find one that allowed him to support his family while having the ability to spend time with his family. In 2009, he and his wife, Claire, decided it was time to make a change.
While he worked outside, built a reputation, and gathered a loyal customer base, she was the one keeping track of those clients & handling all of the bookkeeping. They worked together for years to continue to grow year after year.
As his sons got older, they each began to help the company grow. Taking over the bookkeeping from Mom, and helping Dad with landscaping & lawn care, we have all contributed in our own way.
